A repair engineer called Frank once went to house to repair a dishwasher. The owner she left a note with the house key. This gave instructions about her pets: a bull dog called Spike and a parrot.
Hi Frank
Just to let you know about my animals. Spike looks scary but won’t bother you. But please don’t speak to the parrot. He has psychological issues
Many thanks, Liz
Frank went into the house. In the kitchen Spike, the bulldog lay quietly on the carpet. He opened one eye but then went back to sleep.

You're Stupid!
The parrot, though, spent the whole morning annoying the workman. He started by squawking, "What's your name?"
"Frank," said Frank before he remembered the note.
"You’re very ugly, Frank!" squawked the parrot. "And very stupid!"
“Very stupid,” repeated the parrot, over and over again. “And very ugly.”
Frank tried to be patient. This stupid bird has psychological issues. But eventually, Frank lost his temper. ‘No, you’re very ugly,’ he shouted at the parrot. ‘And you’re very stupid!’
The parrot looked down at the dog. ‘Get him, Spike!’
