Golf Kangaroo

Two businessmen fly to Australia to play in a weekend golf tournament. Their team wins and they both receive green tournament jackets.

On their last night they stay up drinking beer. In the morning they are still drunk but they drive their hire car to the airport. The road is empty.

Suddenly something jumps in front of the car. The driver can’t stop in time and the car hits the animal.

A dead Kangaroo

The men get out of the car. A large animal is lying on the road.

'It's a kangaroo,' said the other. 'We've killed a kangaroo.'

The men begin to laugh. A kangaroo!

'We must take some photos,' says one.

Still laughing they take out their cameras. Then they sit the kangaroo up against the car.

'Let's put a tournament jacket on it,' said one. 'That will look really funny.'

So they dress the poor kangaroo in a green jacket. Then they pose with him for more photos.

Not Dead Yet

Then something amazing happens. A kangaroo eye opens.

He is not dead. And now he’s very angry.

The kangaroo punches the driver and knocks him out. He knocks out the second man. Then he hops away into the outback.

In the kangaroo’s new green jacket are the car keys and a passport and the air tickets.

Later that day a motorist phones the police. ‘You’re not going to believe this,’ he says. ‘But a kangaroo in a green golf jacket is hopping along the road to the airport!’
